The band released a brand new studio video for the delight of the fans!
Besides the video, we’ve got some news about Nic’s work with some Australian artists. He’ll be playing with Tex Perkins on his next album and also will have his cover of “Evie” in a tribute album to the Easybeats.
So that’s it! JET is back!

Today our lovely bassist is getting older! I’m not sure if it’s his 28th or 29th birthday but anyway, we wish him a lot of inspiration for the new album the band is bringing to us! And to celebrate such a special date, we post now a video of the Jet’s performance at Kilborn show playing Rollover DJ during the Get Born tour.

You all will finally have the chance to watch the greatest Jet video ever posted in JETBrasil!
And what a video! That’s an 1 hour documentary taken from the band’s Australian DVD Right Right Right. The band and some of their touring crew tell us the whole story of the band since its early beginning at the Duke Of Windsor in Melbourne.
Since it’s 1 hour long, it had to be divided in 13 parts. But I assure you that you will not regret all the time you spend downloading them, it’s really really worth it!

Today our beloved lead singer Nic Cester is turning to 29 years old!
Unfortunately I couldn’t do anything special for such a date. But that’s for a good reason: on the next weekend we’re going to post the 1 hour documentary of the Right Right Right DVD, which is only sold in Australia.

We finally finished the new english version of JETBrasil!
Things are still a bit messed here but we’re trying to put them in order. We’re going to work very hard on the Articles Section, putting more articles and reviews there to make it the most complete we can. After that, we’re going down on the Multimedia Section, trying to upload all the videos we have (that’s about 320 videos) and the extra one we’re preparing for Nic’s birthday! Don’t miss it!

For those who didn’t read the very good news about Jet and Iggy Pop, they’re on studio together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Australian hit. They’re a making a version of Johnny O’Keefe’s No Wild One in Miami. We had posted a pic of Cam, Mark and Iggy but now we found a pic of the whole band, so there you go:
The True Believers Competition
Here are some tips for the competition.
Some people have been asking me about how to make banners and it’s more simple than you think.
One of our competitors, Maria Eugenia Schneider, allowed us to use one of her banners as an example.
It’s nothing but a photoshopped pic of the band written JETBRASIL. You have only to be careful with the size of the pic, it’s got to be the size we wrote on the rules. Another tip she gave us was about hosting the pic. Instead of sending the pic through the e-mail, you should upload it first on websites like www.imageshack.us for example. Because when you upload it directly on the e-mail, it changes the size of the pic. So all you have to do is upload the pic and send me just the links.
